Resumen:

The BRIDGE Regulation Working Group Annual Activity Report 2025–2026 brings together evidence from a wide range of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects to assess how regulation can better support Europe’s energy transition. The report shows that innovation in flexibility, energy sharing, sector coupling and network operation is advancing rapidly, but regulatory frameworks are not evolving at the same pace. Across all actions, a common message emerges: Europe now needs a more coherent, interoperable and implementation-oriented regulatory framework to move from pilots to large-scale deployment. The report is structured around four core actions
